I have chosen the German brand as they are ideally suited to the terrain and weather that we experience in the High Peak coming from the mountains in northern Germany. I feel that they are technologically superior to many of the brands available and are extremely beneficial to little growing feet.
The Italian brand I selected as a prettier and more fashionable alternative to the rugged hard wearing shoes from Ricosta. The leathers can be softer and the colours more attractive.
I am intending to pick up another hopefully French brand in 2010 - so watch this space. It is all dependent on what the euro does.
Professional Shoe Fitting. I am properly trained in shoe fitting by the Society of Shoe Fitters and am a fully paid up member of their association. I am now going into my fifth season and have measured and fitted getting on for hundreds of little feet. They are all individual and all grow at different rates. I hope that I am open and receptive to advice as the only real expert on a child's feet and how they are growing is their parent.
Service: my service is intended to suit you. I visit local toddler groups. I am happy to visit pre-schools and have done in the past, just for single visits or repeated ones. I am always at the end of a phone if you need and my home is open to visits anytime by arrangement. I can also do home visits to you if this is easier.
